My Local Authority client in Greater London is looking to appoint a talented Director of Change on a Contract basis. The role is to lead and deliver the Council's corporate transformation agenda, ensuring the organisation is financially sustainable, digitally enabled, resident-focused and outcome-driven.
About the role:
- Based in London (Hybrid - 2-3 days on site):
- Design and implement large-scale organisational change programmes aligned to the Corporate Strategy, Council Delivery Plan and Medium-Term Financial Strategy (MTFS), enabling modern, efficient services that respond to the needs of Southwark's communities.
- Ensure that the Chief Executive, Cabinet and Corporate Management Team are supported to transform the organisation.
- Provide strategic leadership across the organisation, operating within a complex political environment and contributing to whole-Council priorities.
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive Transformation Strategy aligned to the Corporate Strategy and MTFS.
About you:
- You will have the following experiences:
- Proven experience in designing and delivering complex programmes of transformation and change, aligned to MTFS.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, across all levels of Local Government.
- Demonstrable successes in complex transformation programmes.

- Salary: Β£700-Β£800+ per day, inside IR35
