Spencer Clarke Group are looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to support a busy housing maintenance service for a local authority in London. This role is very delivery focused. You must be comfortable working to targets and completing 5 void surveys per day, producing clear, contractor-ready schedules of work.
Responsibilities include:
- Undertaking inspections of void properties
- Diagnosing repairs needed to meet the local void standard
- Producing accurate schedules of work and raising works orders
- Writing clear specifications using NHF Schedule of Rates (SOR)
- Updating systems and records promptly, working closely with managers, contractors and the wider voids team
About you:
- Strong background in housing repairs, maintenance, voids, or technical inspections
- Confident identifying repairs and producing robust, costed specifications
- Proven experience working to demanding targets, including high-volume surveying
- Mandatory: practical working knowledge of NHF Schedule of Rates
