Spencer Clarke Group are working with a welcoming primary school in Liverpool who are seeking a dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to take full responsibility for a Year 3 class and support pupils as they transition into Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, inspire a love of learning and help pupils build the confidence, independence and core skills needed for continued success throughout KS2. The school offers a supportive leadership team, excellent classroom resources and a collaborative working environment. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
The Role:
- Take full responsibility for a Year 3 class.
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs.
- Deliver high-quality lessons across the full primary curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and senior leaders.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and carers.
- Participate in PPA, staff meetings, parents' evenings and wider school life.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and ECTs.
- Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Experience teaching or completing placements within KS2 is desirable.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Passion for delivering engaging, creative and inclusive lessons.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
