We are currently seeking an experienced School Administrator to join a busy school in Liverpool, starting ASAP on an initial assignment through to Christmas, with the potential for extension.

The successful candidate will have previous school-based administrative experience and be confident working across a range of front-office and pupil administration duties.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing effective day-to-day administrative support to the school
  • Managing the school reception and front of house, acting as a welcoming first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff and visitors
  • Maintaining accurate attendance records and following up on attendance matters
  • Supporting SEND administration, maintaining records and liaising with relevant staff and external agencies
  • Assisting with safeguarding administration, ensuring records are maintained accurately and confidentially
  • Handling general correspondence, phone calls, emails and enquiries
  • Maintaining pupil and school records in line with confidentiality and data protection requirements
  • Supporting the wider school office team with general administrative duties as required

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working in a school environment
  • Strong understanding of school administration and safeguarding procedures
  • Experience with SEND administration
  • Experience managing attendance and pupil records
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A professional, approachable and calm manner
  • The ability to work effectively in a busy school environment
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
