Spencer Clarke Group is looking to recruit qualified secondary school teachers to work across schools in Kirkby and the surrounding areas from September. We are primarily looking for teachers interested in day-to-day supply, offering flexibility around your availability and the opportunity to work across a range of local secondary schools. Whether you're looking for regular work throughout the week or occasional days to fit around other commitments, we can work with your availability.
Alongside day-to-day supply, we are also recruiting for a number of long-term, subject-specific teaching roles, with teachers paid to scale from the start of the placement.
The role
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Follow school policies and procedures
- Provide continuity for pupils during teacher absence
- Have the flexibility to accept work that suits your availability
What we're looking for
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
