We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work within secondary schools, supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND, SEMH, and learning difficulties. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference and supporting young people during a crucial stage of their education.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Assisting students with additional learning, behavioural, or emotional needs
- Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to support learning plans
- Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement, and independence
- Helping pupils access the curriculum in a supportive and inclusive way
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children or young people (education, care, youth work, or similar)
- A genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional needs
- Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Relevant qualifications or SEND experience are desirable but not essential
