We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work within secondary schools, supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND, SEMH, and learning difficulties. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference and supporting young people during a crucial stage of their education.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
  • Assisting students with additional learning, behavioural, or emotional needs
  • Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to support learning plans
  • Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement, and independence
  • Helping pupils access the curriculum in a supportive and inclusive way

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children or young people (education, care, youth work, or similar)
  • A genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional needs
  • Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Relevant qualifications or SEND experience are desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
