Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Team Manager - Homelessness Prevention for a Local Authority Client in Southwest London. In this role you will lead a team delivering homelessness prevention casework, ensuring decisions are lawful, high-quality, and focused on improving outcomes for residents.

Duties:

  • Lead and support a team delivering homelessness prevention and relief casework
  • Quality assure assessments, decisions and Personal Housing Plans for legal compliance and quality
  • Manage complex, high-risk cases and provide escalation support for safeguarding and multi-agency work
  • Monitor performance, caseloads and service delivery to ensure timely, effective outcomes for residents

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Experience delivering or overseeing statutory homelessness or housing needs casework
  • Experience making or quality-assuring lawful, defensible housing decisions
  • Experience managing complex cases involving safeguarding, vulnerability or multi-agency support
  • Experience supervising, supporting or developing staff in a busy operational environment

What's on offer:

  • Salary: £35+ph *may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
  • Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
