Spencer Clarke Group are working with a welcoming primary school on the Wirral who are looking to appoint a dedicated KS2 Teacher to join their teaching team. The school are looking for a passionate and reliable teacher who can take responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class, delivering engaging lessons and providing pupils with the consistency and high-quality teaching they need to make strong academic and personal progress. This is a full-time teaching position and would suit either an experienced Primary Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to develop within a supportive school environment.
The successful teacher will have a strong understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum, particularly English and Maths, and be confident adapting teaching to meet different abilities, SEND and additional learning needs within the classroom.
The Role:
- Take responsibility for a KS2 class.
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
- Deliver high-quality teaching across English, Maths and the wider primary curriculum.
- Assess, monitor and track pupil attainment and progress.
- Differentiating and adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs.
- Provide appropriate intervention, support and challenge.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement and academic progress.
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants and SEND support staff.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Participate in PPA, staff meetings, parents' evenings and wider school life.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experienced Primary Teachers and ECTs are welcome to apply.
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Confidence teaching English and Maths across KS2.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
