Spencer Clarke Group are working with a welcoming primary school in Liverpool who are seeking a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to begin or continue their teaching career within a supportive school environment. The school are experienced in supporting ECTs and can offer guidance and structure to help you develop your practice.
The role involves taking full responsibility for a Key Stage 1 class, supporting pupils through a key stage of their development, with a strong focus on phonics, early reading, writing and numeracy.
The Role:
- Take full responsibility for a KS1 class.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Deliver and support phonics and early reading development.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching where required.
- Create a positive, inclusive and structured classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff.
- Participate in planning, staff meetings and parent consultations.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs.
- Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
