Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Officer for a Local Authority Client in Kingston. In this role you will deliver a housing management service for older and vulnerable residents, ensuring safe homes and sustainable tenancies.

Duties:

  • Deliver day-to-day housing management for older and vulnerable residents across a designated patch.
  • Carry out tenancy visits, sign-ups, audits, and manage void properties.
  • Respond to ASB, safeguarding concerns, and tenancy issues in line with policy.
  • Inspect schemes and communal areas to ensure health, safety, and repair standards are met.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in housing or tenancy management within a public sector or similar environment.
  • Experience carrying out property visits, inspections, and tenancy-related casework.
  • Experience dealing with ASB, safeguarding, or complex resident issues.
  • Experience using IT systems to manage cases, records, and service delivery data.

What's on offer:

  • Salary: £21+ph (may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience)
  • Contract type: 9 months minimum
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
