Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Homelessness Prevention & Relief Officer for a Local Authority Client in North London. In this role, you will work collaboratively with residents and partner agencies to prevent homelessness and deliver tailored housing solutions.
Duties:
- Assess housing needs and deliver timely homelessness prevention and relief interventions
- Provide high-quality advice on housing options, benefits, and access to accommodation
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to support vulnerable residents
- Maintain accurate case records, data returns, and compliance with statutory duties
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working in housing, homelessness prevention, or a related advice/support service
- Experience applying housing legislation and delivering statutory duties in practice
- Experience managing complex or vulnerable cases using a person-centred, trauma-informed approach
- Experience working collaboratively with multiple agencies to achieve positive outcomes for clients
What's on offer:
- Salary: £23+ph *may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
- Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
