SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School Contract: Full time temporary contract Location:: Irlam, Greater Manchester Rate: £110 per day Spencer Clarke Group are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary SEN school in Irlam. The school is looking for someone who is patient, nurturing and confident supporting children with additional needs, whether that's through 1:1 support, small-group work or within the wider classroom. The Role: Supporting pupils with SEN across the primary age range Providing 1:1 and small-group support Helping pupils access learning and develop their confidence Supporting children with their social, emotional and behavioural needs Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO Adapting activities and resources to meet individual needs Promoting positive behaviour and creating a safe, inclusive environment The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Support Worker or similar Patient, calm and empathetic approach Confident managing challenging behaviour where required Able to build strong relationships with pupils A relevant Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential School-based experience is advantageousIf you're passionate about supporting children with additional needs and are looking for your next SEN Teaching Assistant role, we'd love to hear from you
