My client in North West England is looking to appoint a talented SEND Power BI Developer on a Contract basis. The role supports performance monitoring of the SEND DMP and SEND service decision-making. You will work with the Data Group, SEND Business Analyst, the Capita lead and the head of Service for SEND.
About the role:
- Design and develop visually compelling and interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Connecting to a variety of data sources (Capita, SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, etc.).
- Model data efficiently (e.g. star schema) for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with DMP Data Group and SEND Head of Service to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting needs.
- Work with the BA and Capita lead to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across reports.
- Work with the SEND Business Analyst, IT and data teams to improve data pipelines and infrastructure.
About you: You will have the following experiences:
- Local Authority experience with SEND data is essential.
- Extensive experience with Power BI development, SQL, star schema, etc.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to elicit requirements and apply into appropriate visualisation.
What's on offer:
- Salary: £500 per day, outside IR35 (negotiable based on experience).
- Hybrid working.
- Contract type: Contract.
- Hours: 09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday.
