Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Options Team Manager for a Local Authority Client in Kent. The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role. In this role, you will lead the Housing Options team, manage complex cases, and ensure high-quality housing services for the community.
Duties:
- Manage and support the Housing Options team to deliver effective services.
- Oversee housing applications, assessments, and placements.
- Provide guidance and coaching to staff, resolving complex cases.
- Ensure compliance with housing policies, procedures, and legislation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in housing management, ideally within local government.
- Strong knowledge of housing law, homelessness legislation, and housing options.
- Experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Track record of managing complex cases and delivering excellent customer service.
What's on offer:
- Salary: £33ph *may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
- Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
