Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Allocations Officer for a Local Authority Client in Berkshire.

In this role, you will manage the Housing Register, ensure compliance with the Housing Act, and update applicant bands.

Duties:

  • Manage and maintain the Housing Register and nominations.
  • Apply Part 6 and Part 7 of the Housing Act to allocations.
  • Review and update applicant bands, removing those who no longer qualify.
  • Maintain accurate records using Jigsaw software.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience managing Housing Registers and nominations.
  • Knowledge of Part 6 and Part 7 of the Housing Act.
  • Proficiency with Jigsaw housing software.
  • Experience reviewing and updating applicant eligibility or bands.

What's on offer:

  • Salary: £17 - £19ph (may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience)
  • Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week (1 day per week on site)
