Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Homes for Ukraine Visiting Officer for a Local Authority Client in Southwest London. In this role, you will support the delivery of the Homes for Ukraine scheme by carrying out home visits, checks, and welfare support to ensure safe and successful placements for hosts and guests.

Duties:

  • Arrange and carry out initial home visits with sponsors, including property and suitability checks
  • Verify required documents and support DBS-related checks for hosts
  • Visit guests after arrival to complete welfare checks and issue payment vouchers
  • Maintain accurate records of visits, contacts, and outcomes in line with scheme requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience of working in housing, homelessness, social care, or community outreach services
  • Experience of carrying out home visits, assessments, or compliance/safeguarding checks
  • Experience of maintaining accurate records and using case management or database systems
  • Experience of dealing with vulnerable people, managing sensitive situations, and providing support or advice
