Are you a passionate, adaptable and inspiring HLTA looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact across a primary school? We are seeking an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team on a full-time maternity cover contract from January 2027 until the end of the academic year.
This varied and rewarding role will include:
- Delivering high-quality PPA cover across Reception to Year 5
- Leading engaging and creative Forest School sessions multiple days each week
- Supporting teaching and learning across a range of year groups
- Inspiring children to develop confidence, resilience and a love of learning
What we’re looking for:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
- Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
- Experience working across different primary age groups (desirable)
- Forest School qualification and experience (highly desirable)
- A flexible, proactive and nurturing approach to supporting children
