We are looking for a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester in the Halifax Area. Provide the highest quality of planned maintenance and responsive repairs of HGV, light commercials, cars, accessible buses, plant, and equipment.
To make repairs to vehicle plant and equipment, provide a prompt response to breakdowns when instructed, attending breakdowns and accidents when required.
Carry out MOT tests to class IV, V and VII vehicles and private hire and hackney carriage compliance tests in a safe and competent manner when required.
Responsible for taking enforcement action in circumstances where vehicles are suspended as a result of the compliance test. Work safely with regards to yourself and others.
To provide a timely and customer focused vehicle inspection service in the depot or out on site instructed by the Senior Workshop Supervisor (Vehicle Services).
Must be Nominated MOT tester to cover Class IV, V, VII vehicles.
