Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Options Team Manager for a Local Authority Client in Kent. In this role, you will lead the Housing Options team, manage complex cases, and ensure high-quality housing services for the community.

Duties:

  • Manage and support the Housing Options team to deliver effective services.
  • Oversee housing applications, assessments, and placements.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to staff, resolving complex cases.
  • Ensure compliance with housing policies, procedures, and legislation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in housing management, ideally within local government.
  • Strong knowledge of housing law, homelessness legislation, and housing options.
  • Experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Track record of managing complex cases and delivering excellent customer service.

What's on offer:

  • Salary: Β£33ph may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience.
  • Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week.
