Lancashire County Council are currently recruiting for 4x experienced EHCP Officers to join their SEND service.

£266 per day

3-6 month contract (likely extension)

Full-time

Fully remote working

The Role

You will play a key role in managing the full EHCP process for children and young people with SEND, including assessments, plan writing, reviews, and consultations. Working closely with schools, families, and multi-agency professionals, you will ensure EHCPs are high-quality, person-centred, and compliant with statutory requirements. You will manage a varied caseload aligned to allocated educational settings, supporting positive outcomes and effective transitions.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in a SEND / EHCP role within a Local Authority
  • Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and Children and Families Act 2014
  • Experience managing the end-to-end EHCP process
