We are currently looking for dedicated and experienced 1:1 SEND Tutors to support learners in the DH8 area.

Role Overview: You will provide tailored 1:1 tuition to learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Sessions will take place either in the learner's home or in a suitable public setting.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with SEND and SEMH learners
  • Background in teaching or tutoring (essential)
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
  • Ability to deliver engaging, personalised lessons
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management and differentiated learning
