We are looking for an Early Intervention and School Attendance Coordinator to support one of our clients in the Darlington area. In this role, you will champion the effective use of the Common Assessment Framework (CAF) and Lead Professional processes, ensuring children, young people and families receive timely and appropriate support. You will also maintain accurate CAF records and contribute to regular reporting.

Key responsibilities:

  • Promote and support the use of the Common Assessment Framework and Lead Professional processes.
  • Provide guidance, training and advice to partner agencies on thresholds of need and assessment tools.
  • Ensure all CAF information is accurately recorded on the electronic system.
  • Produce monthly reports and maintain high quality data.
  • Work collaboratively with professionals to improve outcomes for children and families.

Essential Requirements:

  • HCPC recognised Social Work qualification or equivalent (e.g., teaching, nursing, health visiting).
  • Minimum two years' experience working with children, young people and families.
  • Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills.
  • Confident IT user with good analytical ability.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multi-agency team.

Contract Length: 3 months initially with the view of an extension.

Pay Rate: £22.00 per hour

Working pattern: 37 hours per week
