Are you a passionate Design Technology Teacher looking for a role where you can make a real difference? We are currently recruiting for a full-time Design Technology Teacher to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) setting from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and resilient teacher who enjoys practical learning and wants to support young people who may have experienced barriers within mainstream education.
The role will initially begin through agency, with a view to becoming a permanent position for the right candidate. The setting supports pupils with SEMH needs and provides a nurturing, structured environment where relationships, confidence-building and engagement are at the heart of learning.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging Design Technology lessons, helping students develop practical skills, creativity and confidence through hands-on learning. You will:
- Teach Design Technology across KS3/KS4 (experience with practical subjects such as Construction, Product Design, Resistant Materials or similar is desirable)
