Spencer Clarke Group are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join one of our public clients at one of their sites in the Clitheroe area. The site consists of 2 acute 12 bedded wards and an 8-bed psychiatric intensive care unit. You will provide medical leadership to the inpatient MTD and will work alongside a Specialty Doctor as well as Junior Doctors. The multi-disciplinary team will be made up of Pharmacists, Psychologists, Mental Health Nursing team, and Occupational Therapists with input from Social Workers from the relevant local authority.
To be a successful candidate for this role, it is essential that you hold full GMC registration and are included on the specialist register of the GMC. It's also a requirement that you are Section 12 approved at the time of employment commencing and have or are eligible to have approved clinical status. Having knowledge or experience in similar settings is desired for this role.
