About the Role
As a Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that support pupils in achieving their academic potential. Working closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents, you will contribute to the wider school community while maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and engagement.
- Assessing, monitoring, and recording pupil progress to ensure positive outcomes.
- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities and learning requirements.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting positive attitudes towards learning.
- Providing timely and constructive feedback to pupils.
- Collaborating with teaching assistants and other school staff to support pupil achievement.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Attending staff meetings, training sessions, parents' evenings, and school events as required.
- Upholding safeguarding policies and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Previous teaching experience within UK schools is desirable.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A thorough understanding of the national curriculum and assessment processes.
- A passion for education and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.
- An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Spencer Clarke Group.
