Spencer Clarke Group are recruiting for a Qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming primary school setting in Chorley. This role is ideal for a qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) or Nursery Practitioner looking to work within Nursery, Reception, and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) provision.
The Role
- Supporting children within EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
- Assisting with learning through play, phonics, and early literacy/numeracy
- Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and communication development
- Working 1:1 and in small groups with early years learners
- Helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment
- Supporting the class teacher with daily EYFS activities and routines
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS / Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working within nursery or early years primary settings
- Strong understanding of EYFS framework
- Patient, caring, and child-centred approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
