We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking School Catering Assistant to join a welcoming school in Chester on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in providing a high standard of food service to students and staff.
Duties will include:
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals
- Keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and tidy
- Washing up and maintaining hygiene standards
- Supporting the catering team during busy lunch periods
- Following food safety and health & safety procedures
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous catering, kitchen, or food service experience
- Be dependable, organised, and able to work as part of a team
- Have a positive and professional attitude
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
