A Local Authority in the North West is looking to appoint a skilled Finance Manager on an Interim basis.
What's on offer:
- Rate of Pay: £450 - £600 per day, inside IR35 (negotiable based on experience)
- Hybrid/Remote working
- Contract type: Contract (37 hrs a week)
- Hours: 09:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday
About the role:
The purpose of the role is to provide business partnering support to our Education and Inclusion service as well as our teams providing budget support to schools.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the lead finance service point of contact supporting special projects to ensure the Council's interests are safeguarded and benefits are realized.
- Manage a team of staff responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality advice, information, analysis and interpretation to budget holders.
About you:
You will have the following experience:
- CCAB Qualification or equivalent.
- Ability to lead transformation activity and manage organisational change.
- In-depth experience in a relevant local government role.
