Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Advice Officer for a Local Authority Client in Cambridge. In this role, you will provide frontline housing advice and help prevent and relieve homelessness.
- Provide frontline housing advice, triage and emergency accommodation arrangements
- Assess homelessness applications and make statutory decisions
- Work proactively to prevent homelessness and agree Personal Housing Plans
- Liaise with partners and manage a caseload to secure sustainable housing outcomes
- Providing high-quality customer service in a frontline or advisory role
- Interpreting and applying legislation, policy or procedural guidance
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
