Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Cabinet Support Officer for a Local Authority Client in West London. In this role you will provide high-level administrative, policy and executive support to Cabinet Members.
Duties:
- Provide proactive diary, inbox and correspondence management for Cabinet Members, prioritising and actioning requests appropriately.
- Produce clear and timely briefing notes, reports and research to support decision-making and portfolio priorities.
- Coordinate meetings, agendas, papers, minutes and follow-up actions to ensure effective delivery and accountability.
- Manage casework and stakeholder engagement, liaising with officers, residents and partners to resolve issues efficiently.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience providing executive or senior administrative support in a fast-paced office or political environment.
- Experience managing complex diaries, inboxes and scheduling for senior stakeholders.
- Experience producing high-quality written briefings, reports or correspondence for varied audiences.
- Experience handling sensitive information, casework or stakeholder queries with confidentiality and sound judgement.
What's on offer:
- Salary: £22+ph (may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience).
- Contract type: 3-6 months minimum.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week.
