Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an Area Tenancy Manager for a Local Authority Client in Wembley. In this role you will take full ownership of a housing patch, managing tenancies end-to-end to sustain homes, support residents, and balance compassionate tenancy support with effective enforcement to deliver safe, well-managed communities.
Duties:
- Manage a designated housing patch, overseeing tenancies from letting through to termination and re-let
- Deliver proactive tenancy management, including rent recovery, estate inspections, and tenancy sustainment
- Lead on complex casework including ASB, safeguarding, domestic abuse, and enforcement action where required
- Work with residents, partners, and contractors to maintain safe, compliant estates and high levels of tenant satisfaction
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience of managing a housing patch or tenancy management caseload end-to-end within a social housing or local authority setting
- Experience of managing rent arrears, tenancy sustainment, and taking appropriate enforcement action including preparation of legal cases
- Experience of handling complex casework such as ASB, safeguarding concerns, and domestic abuse in line with policy and procedures
- Experience of working collaboratively with tenants, contractors, and partner agencies to deliver effective housing and estate management outcomes
What's on offer:
- Salary: £22+ph *may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
- Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
