A welcoming and supportive Primary SEN School in Bolton is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs.
The Role:
- Supporting children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional development
- Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and social skills
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Be patient, caring, and resilient
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Be passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential
- Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience (desirable but not essential)
