Spencer Clarke Group are working in partnership with secondary schools across Bolton who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join their teams on a supply basis from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Humanities Teacher who is looking for flexibility, variety, and the chance to make a positive impact in local schools. The Role
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Humanities lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum where required.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
- Foster students' understanding of history, geography, religious studies, and related disciplines.
- Work collaboratively with school staff to support student achievement.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Humanities within a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- A passion for inspiring young people and promoting a love of learning.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
