We are looking for teachers across Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Computing, with opportunities available for experienced teachers, ECTs and teachers looking for flexible supply work. As a STEM Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire pupils and develop their knowledge, skills and confidence. Responsibilities may include:
- Planning and delivering engaging STEM lessons
- Teaching across KS3 and/or KS4
- Preparing pupils for GCSE examinations where applicable
- Differentiating lessons to meet individual learning needs
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Building positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
- Using practical and innovative approaches to bring STEM subjects to life
- Contributing to departmental planning and wider school activities
- Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
We are keen to hear from teachers who have:
- QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within a secondary school
- Strong subject knowledge within a STEM discipline
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to engage and inspire young people
- A flexible and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
