Key Responsibilities:
- Leading on Site Security and ensuring all buildings are secured properly each day
- Carry out general maintenance checks, including cleaning and minor repairs as needed
- Perform security checks to ensure the safety of the premises
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of school events and activities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Lock up or open the school securely depending on agreed shift pattern
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Site Supervisor/Caretaker or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic DIY and maintenance skills, experience as a Handyperson or trades person is highly desirable
- Understanding of health and safety procedures
- Reliable and punctual
