We are looking for dedicated SEND / Unqualified Teaching Assistants to join schools across the Blackpool area. This rewarding, full-time, term-time role involves supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to reach their full potential.
What You'll Do:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including complex needs
- Assist with personal care where required
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Support teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to implement learning activities
About You:
- Experience in support work, care work, or a similar role is highly desirable
- Personal experience supporting individuals with additional needs is valued
- Comfortable providing personal care when needed
- Patient, compassionate, and resilient
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
