Pay Rate: £95-£110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role

/n

Spencer Clarke Group is currently working with a range of welcoming schools across Blackpool who are looking for dedicated and experienced Qualified Teaching Assistants to join their teams.

/n

As a Qualified Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils with their learning, both within the classroom and through targeted one-to-one or small group interventions. Working closely with teachers and other members of staff, you will help to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment where every pupil can thrive.

/n

This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified Teaching Assistants looking for flexible work, the chance to gain experience across a variety of school settings, or a longer-term role within education.

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n
- Support pupils with their learning on a one-to-one and small group basis.
/n
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective learning activities.
/n
- Deliver targeted interventions to support pupil progress where required.
/n
- Support pupils with a range of additional learning, social and emotional needs.
/n
- Help to create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
/n
- Encourage positive behaviour and support pupils to remain focused and engaged.
/n
- Adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of different learners.
/n
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff to support pupil progress and wellbeing.
/n

/n

What We're Looking For

/n

/n
- A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification, ideally Level 2 or Level 3.
/n
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children and young people in an educational setting.
/n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
/n
- A patient, caring and adaptable approach.
/n
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
/n
- Confidence supporting pupils both independently and as part of a wider team.
/n
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young people to achieve their potential.
/n
- Flexibility and reliability to support short-term and long-term placements.
/n

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
