Spencer Clarke Group are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant - SEND Support (Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant / SEN TA) to work within a supportive mainstream and/or specialist school setting in Blackburn. This role is ideal for candidates seeking SEND Teaching Assistant jobs, SEN support roles, classroom support assistant positions, learning support assistant (LSA) roles, and behaviour support assistant opportunities within education.

The Role

  • Providing dedicated SEND support in the classroom across primary or secondary settings
  • Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), additional learning needs, and disabilities
  • Working 1:1 and in small group interventions to support learning, progress, and engagement
  • Supporting children with Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), speech and language difficulties, and learning disabilities

  • All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
