GCSE English & Biology Tutor Required Location: Batley (face-to-face tuition) Rate: £30 per hour Hours: 4 hours per week We are seeking a dedicated and supportive tutor to work with a keen and motivated learner who is studying towards GCSE English and GCSE Biology. The learner has missed a significant amount of education and is working towards gaining these qualifications. They are eager to learn, engage well with the right support, and are committed to making progress. Due to underlying health conditions, they may experience fatigue at times, so the successful tutor will need to be patient, flexible, and able to adapt lessons to meet their needs. Requirements Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE English and/or GCSE Biology. Ability to build confidence and re-engage learners who have experienced educational disruption. Patient, encouraging, and understanding approach. Ability to differentiate lessons and pace learning appropriately. Relevant qualifications and enhanced DBS check preferred. Role Responsibilities Deliver engaging and personalised tuition sessions. Support the learner in working towards GCSE qualifications in English and Biology. Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate periods of fatigue and fluctuating health needs. Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
