We are seeking caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to join our supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support for pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with SEND in the classroom and during school activities
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support
  • Encourage pupil independence, confidence, and social development
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

We are looking for people who have:

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN / SEND.
  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, SEN TA, Youth Worker, Support Worker or Care Assistant.
  • A calm, patient and resilient approach.
  • Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs and challenging behaviour.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A genuine interest in working in education and supporting vulnerable learners.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
