Outreach Tutor Required - Stockton-on-Tees Area
Spencer Clarke Tutors is seeking an experienced and dedicated Outreach Tutor to support a student with complex needs in the Stockton-on-Tees area.
About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled tutor who can provide personalised, one-to-one tuition tailored to the student's individual learning needs. Sessions may take place in the student's home or at a local library, so applicants must be confident working in community-based settings.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' tutoring or teaching experience
- Experience supporting students with complex needs
- Strong ability to adapt lessons and learning strategies to meet individual requirements
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Patient, professional, and reliable approach
Essential Criteria
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
- Right to work in the UK
- Comfortable delivering tuition in students' homes and local libraries
Pay
£27-£30 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
