Spencer Clarke Tutors are seeking enthusiastic Tutors in Newton-le-Willows to support children and young people through personalised, 1:1 tuition.
Working with schools and Local Authorities, we provide tailored education for pupils who need additional support, are falling behind or are currently outside mainstream education.
The Role
- Deliver 1:1 tuition to primary and secondary pupils.
- Support Maths, English, literacy and numeracy.
- Adapt lessons to individual learning needs.
- Help pupils build confidence and make progress.
- Record attendance and provide session feedback.
Sessions may take place in pupils' homes, community settings or online.
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people.
- Teaching qualification, tutoring experience or relevant educational background.
- Strong communication skills.
- SEND experience is desirable.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (we can provide a link to apply if needed).
- Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
