Maths Tutor (SEND) - Chester-le-Street
£30 per hour (PAYE)
Spencer Clarke Tutors are seeking an experienced and dedicated Maths Tutor to support a learner with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in the Chester-le-Street area.
The Role
- Deliver 1:1 Maths tuition to a learner with an EHCP
- Plan and adapt sessions to meet the learner's individual needs and learning style
- Build a positive, engaging, and supportive relationship with the learner
- Deliver sessions within the learner's home environment
- Monitor progress and provide session feedback where required
Requirements
- Qualified Maths specialist with strong subject knowledge
- Experience supporting learners with SEND
- Comfortable delivering tuition within learners' homes
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Ability to differentiate lessons and adapt teaching approaches
- Reliable, patient, and committed to improving outcomes for vulnerable learners
