Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Temporary Accommodation Move-On Officer for a local authority in East London.
In this role, you will work with households in temporary accommodation to identify suitable housing options, overcome barriers and support them into secure, sustainable homes.
Duties:
- Manage a caseload of households in temporary accommodation.
- Assess housing needs and identify suitable move-on options.
- Overcome barriers and negotiate with landlords, agents and partners.
- Support households through to a successful and sustainable move.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working in housing, homelessness or temporary accommodation services.
- Experience managing a caseload and supporting vulnerable households.
- Experience identifying housing solutions and overcoming barriers to move-on.
- Experience working with landlords, agents and partner agencies to achieve outcomes.
What's on offer:
Salary: Β£31ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 12 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
