Spencer Clarke Tutors is seeking an experienced SEND Tutor to deliver 1:1 tuition to learners in their homes across Burnley and surrounding areas.
Pay: £27-£30 per hour
Location: Burnley & Surrounding Areas
Type: Flexible, Self-Employed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' teaching or tutoring experience
- Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, ASD, ADHD, or SEMH needs
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
- Ability to travel to learners' homes
- Strong communication skills and subject knowledge
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition sessions
- Adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs
- Support learner engagement, confidence, and progress
- Provide regular feedback and session reports
- Work professionally with learners, families, and schools
