Qualified Primary Teacher

Pay: £150 to £230 per day depending on experience

Spencer Clarke Group are recruiting a Qualified Teacher for a primary school in Blackburn. The role is a full class commitment from the day you start, so the school want a teacher who is comfortable picking up a class and running it, not someone looking for light cover work.
The role
- Full responsibility for a primary class, planning, teaching and assessment
- Working to the school schemes rather than starting from scratch
- Setting and maintaining your own behaviour expectations
- Liaising with parents at the usual points in the year
- Working alongside a TA who knows the class
You will need
- QTS, QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching in a UK primary school, ECTs welcome to apply
- Strong subject knowledge across the primary curriculum
- The ability to assess accurately and use it to shape your planning
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
