We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Science leader following the promotion of an internal colleague to Curriculum Team Leader. The Science Faculty is a high-performing, collaborative team with experienced leaders across all disciplines. As such, the specific key stage responsibility for this post will be aligned to the successful candidate's expertise and strengths.
The successful applicant will teach Science across all key stages and will take strategic responsibility for the oversight and development of all Science courses within their designated key stage. We currently offer Combined Science and Separate Sciences at KS4, in addition to A-Level Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and the BTEC Medical Science programme at KS5.
You will be joining a dynamic, forward-thinking faculty committed to continuous improvement and exceptional standards. We are looking for a practitioner with the vision and determination to further raise our consistently strong outcomes. The Science Faculty regularly achieves results within the top 20% nationally and delivers a curriculum that is ambitious in both its scope and challenge but is also inclusive and responsive to the needs of all learners.
