The Team consists of Trustees, administrators, client managers and actuaries.
About You
Enhance and support the ongoing development of our success, with a strong focus on client management and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service at all times.
Responsibilities & Criteria
- Overseeing all BAU activities and scheme advisors and maintaining strong relationships with the client and scheme advisors.
- Overall project management of a portfolio of pension schemes and specific projects being undertaken.
- Oversee and manage services in line with the client contract and internal quality standards.
- Lead on client issues, being solution focused and working closely with Lead Professional Trustee as required.
- Lead on issue resolution.
- Responsible for all aspects of pension scheme governance to ensure compliance with internal processes and external regulatory requirements.
- Oversee reporting of any areas of non-compliance.
- Own the scheme business plan and lead on addressing any diversion from the plan.
- Responsible for client profitability.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Dalriada's services. Identify where services could be enhanced or efficiencies made.
- Develop own network of professional contacts.
- Where required, be involved in new business proposals and pitches.
- Regular involvement in marketing activity (e.g. article writing, round table discussions or presenting at industry events).
Essential Criteria
- A deep understanding of pension scheme governance and regulatory requirements.
- Highly organised, will manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within deadlines.
- Proactive in identifying scheme risks and escalating to senior trustee.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts in simplified terms.
- Skilled at confidently representing Dalriada at networking events.
- Support the development of a high-performing, client-focused team, sharing experiences and knowledge.
- Will be an accredited trustee.
Desirable Criteria
- Demonstrable ability to build strong relationships within internal teams and with external stakeholders.
- Experience of new business activity including new business pitches.
- Identification, management and mitigation of scheme risks, knowing when to escalate.
Circumstances
- Location: Manchester, London or Glasgow.
- Working hours: 12 months Fixed Term contract. Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with additional hours as and when required.
