We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team, providing essential support and companionship to individuals in care homes or receiving home care services. Duties
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility
- Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to each individual’s needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote well‑being and independence
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and documentation tools
- Communicate effectively with team members, residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for everyone in your care
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English to interact clearly with residents, families, and colleagues
- Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately and responsibly
- Basic IT skills for recording care activities and accessing relevant documentation
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well‑being
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, or bank holidays
To work 4 shifts over 7 - we currently have a vacancy for both nights and days. 44 hours per week on a rota basis.
