WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Embed with clients' compliance and risk teams to understand not just what they do, but why - and where the real friction lives.
- Challenge existing workflows with authority: propose better ways of working that hold up under regulatory scrutiny and senior stakeholder pressure.
- Operate across all levels of a client organisation - from compliance analysts to Chief Risk Officers - with equal credibility.
- Partner with the expansion team to build business cases that quantify the operational and risk value of working differently.
- Translate regulatory complexity into practical, implementable changes that clients can actually adopt.
- Feed structured insights back to the spektr product team: what regulations actually demand, where manual work persists, and where AI can do more.
- Build reusable compliance frameworks and reference workflows that travel across the client base - not one-off fixes.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Deep, first‑hand knowledge of how compliance or risk operates inside a major financial institution – whether from years spent there, or from close advisory work that gave you the same ground‑level view.
- The range to operate across all layers of a corporate organisation – commercially sharp, not just technically sound.
- A genuine drive to improve how compliance works, not just manage it within existing constraints.
- Strong working knowledge of AML, KYC, sanctions, or financial crime frameworks – applied, not theoretical.
- Comfortable working across different types of regulated businesses: banks, fintechs, payment companies, and beyond.
- A constructive challenger: you can push back on how a client has always done things and take them with you.
